ECCWA invites you to join a FREE consultation to discuss Forced Marriage. This consultation will assist us in our written submission to the government. The government is seeking to develop a framework to tackle Forced Marriage through Enhancing Civil Protections and Remedies for Forced Marriage.

Facilitator: The consultation will be facilitated by our guest facilitator, Dr Lisha van Reyk. Lisha is a nationally accredited mediator, family dispute practitioner and advocate renowned for prioritising the well-being of children in her services. With specialised expertise in coercive control, supporting women in family violence situations, and serving the neurodiverse community, Lisha draws on her background in paediatric research to guide individuals through conflicts and towards a path of autonomy. Her dedication lies in achieving peaceful resolutions that ensure safety, mutual understanding, effective communication and independence for all involved.
In addition, we ask you to kindly complete a survey that will only take 5 minutes of your time. The responses from the survey will assist us in our submission response to the government.
