Family and Domestic Violence Training is being scheduled across WA by a Multicultural Consortia led by IsHAR Multicultural Women's Health Centre. ECCWA is part of the consortia as is the Multicultural Services Centre, Orana Women's Refuge and the Metropolitan Migrant Resource Centre.

RACISM MATTERS TRAINING

ECCWA is providing training sessions for our members and members of the public in the following topics:
1) Racism: What is racism? ( by Racism Matters team)
2) Cultural responsitivity
3) Healthy relationship training (by Ishar)
4) Multiculturalism: What is multiculturalism? (by ECCWA)
If your community would like to receive training in any of the above, please contact our Communications officer Eliza Nguyen at eliza@eccwa.org.au .We will get in touch to discuss how this training can be organised. Please note that the training may involve a fee, which will be negotiated with you.
We will schedule specific training dates for the general public starting in early 2021. Please keep an eye out on our website for these dates.

The Racism Matters team will be holding educational training sessions with CaLD community leaders and members. The training will consist of a presentation on the topic of human rights and legal rights, as well as steps you can take to diffuse a confronting situation as a witness or target of racial discrimination.
